Help
So I have been studying Korean for over two years now....maybe I should say I started over two years ago, I study hard for a few months at a time then life gets in the way and I get frustrated with my progress (or lack of), and I take weeks off. I have a "tutor" I met maybe 1 1/2 years ago. He helps alot, and it seems he's always ready to lend me help. He lives in Seoul and we speak using msn messenger and skype. He recommended I buy certain books and he even makes up lessons for me. My ipod is full of Pimseuler and Kimchi Girls, Sparkling Korean, k-pop and rap. I have every learning resource for Korean on the internet bookmarked. I have watched 100's of hours of K-dramas and movies. But I can't hold the most basic of conversations in Korean. I feel very frustrated and inadequate. My tutor tells me that my pronunciation is perfect and I shouldn't be frustrated because it should take at least three years to get a handle on a new language.
